THE MARINE BIOLOGY BUILDING

The Marine Biology program began at Savannah State in 1979. Ten years later the program has blossomed and moved into the state's only on-campus marine biology laboratory located on a saltwater marsh. The 6,000-square-foot, I-story building is part of a complex that includes a dock, dry and wet labs, classrooms, computers, and a library.
