Government Association, it is certainly my pleasure to welcome you into our
illustrious tiger family. Savannah State University exemplifies a strong
foundation of traditions that will enhance your pride and appreciation for this
fine institution.
As
president of SGA, I am pleased to ensure that your experiences will be
gratifying this year. Therefore, it is up to you to make the most of every
moment: from arrival, to Homecoming, to Spring Fling, to departure. As you
embark on your journey into tiger territory, please indulge in your home away
from home. For SSU is truly notarized for its family-oriented feel. Your divine
interest in the Student Government Association will make a tremendous impact on
the actions that will take place this year at Savannah State University.
The
purpose of the Student Government Association is to serve as representatives and
to act in the best interest of the student body. SGA is charged with addressing
the issues and concerns of the student body. In addition, SGA will provide an
array of services to the students that will benefit you and Savannah State
University.

success of the year. Your part in SGA is a given portion of what is expected in
