Veronica Nyeema Rahim is a
twenty-one year old senior, majoring in Business Management. Though
born in Jacksonville, Florida, she was raised in Chicago, Illinois, and currently
resides in Perry, Georgia. She is the proud
daughter of Albert and Vera Johnson and is the loving sister of
Altonia Johnson, who is a senior Mass Communications major here at
SSU. She enjoys reading, writing, meeting and interacting with
people, and expressing her creative abilities through poetry and
plays. Ms. Rahim’s passion for staying active on campus is evidently
exhibited through her participation in various organizations and

Ms. Rahim is very dedicated to
being involved in her community. She volunteers in the Youth
Ministry at her church, Overcoming by Faith. She volunteers at the
St. Pius Family Resource Center when she is not employed there. In
addition she was a member of the 2003-2004 Tigers Against Diabetes
Team that placed 10th in fundraising and donations for
the American Diabetes Association.
Veronica aspires to obtain her
Masters Degree in Leadership and Development after receiving her
Bachelor’s Degree in the Spring of 2005. This will pave the way for
her to implement leadership programs for the youth. She blesses her
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the many blessings that he
continuously bestows upon her life, and lives to be a blessing to
others. She truly believes that through Him, she is given the
strength to “reach for the moon, because even if she misses she will
always land among the stars!”
