The Constitution of the Student Government
Association is currently under review. The original document dates back to the
year 1984, when the University operated under a quarterly system. Savannah State
University changed to a semester system in 1998, and thus, there are some
portions of this document that need to be amended. The Association has taken the
Liberty of preparing interim Guidelines for this academic year, while it
restores some integrity to the Constitution and develops complementary
Bylaws for the Constitution. Please view the
interim guidelines for each of the Association's Branches respond with
