Black Students With A Mission  

Black Students with a Mission was originally as Black Men With a Mission was chartered and organized on the campus of Savannah State University in September of 1998. Its founding members wanted the focus of this organization to create a brotherhood of men on campus of Savannah State University who have the potential to do great things both on and off campus, and to infuse their leadership skills to enable them to be assets to our institution and its respective communities.

Name Change - Spring 2003
In February of the 2003 school year, Black Men With a Mission officially changed its name to Black Students With a Mission B.S.W.M. pursuant to with a majority vote. This name change reflects a more inclusive organization as indicated by the language of the Constitution of BMWM and marked the beginning of BMWM's recruitment of members regardless of gender and has aided in the organizations development and forward progress.

Seize the opportunity to demonstrate "Tiger Pride" (Revolutionary Style) while collectively embracing individuality. Help make an immediate difference on SSU's campus and the community - help our Black Students With a Mission in collaboration with like-minded organizations, motivate SSU in stabilizing the African American Community nationwide.
