I finished my Ph.D. degree at New Jersey Institute of Technology, followed by a post-doctoral training at Rutgers University. My Ph.D. dissertation is of the organic synthesis and enzymatic chiral separation of amino acids using 'green' solvents, named ionic liquids.

I obtained my BS degree and Master's degree both from Tianjin University (China).

I have involved in some research projects in areas of organic chemistry, biochemistry, polymer science, thermodynamics, and chemical processes. I am also interested in some computer-related projects, such as model computing, database designing, computer programming by Fortran, C/C++, and Java.
