The Biology and Life Science
Program at Savannah
State University is housed in several buildings on campus, with the
main components residing in the
Drew-Griffith building at the southwest end of campus. The Marine
Science program is based in the
Marine Science building on the marsh off the circle on the original
northeast end of campus. The department also works with adjunct faculty
at the Skidaway Institute of
Oceanography on nearby Skidaway Island.
The Drew-Griffith building
houses specialized labs for
Biotechnology,
Environmental Science and
Physiology, where faculty members, research associates, and students
are engaged in ongoing research.
