Program Description

The study abroad program takes place during the summer semester for a period of about four (4) weeks. Participants take courses in Chinese language and culture, as well as in other areas of the academic curriculum. A typical course load consists of six (6) credit hours or two courses. Tuition fees, room & board, field trips and round trip airfare from Savannah, GA are included in the estimated $3,800.00 program cost. Insurance, Passport and visa fees, and required immunization fees are not included in the program cost.

Learning is by no means restricted to the classroom. Field trips include visits to historic sites such as Tianamen Square, the Great Wall, Summer Palace, Jade Buddha Temple and Shanghai Art and History Museum.

Eligibility

Open to all University System of Georgia undergraduate and graduate students.
