Lady Tigers volleyball fall to Albany State

SAVANNAH, Ga. -- Albany State University defeated the Lady Tigers in three games on Tuesday night in Tiger Arena. SSU's Donna Jenkins had a match-high 17 kills.

Savannah State (4-7) kept all three games close but was an able to get a win. The Lady Rams (4-7) defeated the Lady Tigers 30-26, 30-20 and 30-25.

SSU's Jenkins and Kari Parker combined for 27 kills. April Hayes led the Tigers with 27 assists, while Shawannda McClain had a team-leading 11 digs.

Albany State was led by Rachell Anderson with 10 kills.

SSU will take on Charleston Southern University tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. in Tiger Arena.
