Savannah State Captures Paine Tournament

AUGUSTA, Ga- Led by Donna Jenkins' 17 kills and five serving aces, the Savannah State volleyball team won the Paine College Volleyball Tournament with a 3-1 win over host Paine at Carter Gym.

Paine won the first set 30-25 but SSU rallied to win three straight (30-18, 30-17 and 30-7) to win the title.

The win gives Savannah State a four game winning streak and a 4-5 record overall.
