Javis named to the Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America Baseball Team

TUSCON, Az- Brandon Javis was named to the Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American Baseball Team that was released on June 6, 2007.

The team was selected by Collegiate Baseball.

Javis, who plays shortstop for the Tigers, led the team in home runs (7), RBI (36), slugging percentage (.520) and walks (23). He was tied for second in runs scored (42) and home runs (2) and was second in hits (63) and doubles (14). Javis hit .321 and stole 13 bases in 18 attempts.

In the field, Columbia, South Carolina native had a team high 135 assists.
