Faculty, Don’t Cancel Your Class!

Faculty members can take advantage of the Center for Leadership & Character Development, too. Whether you will be presenting a paper or attend a conference, you don’t have to cancel your class. A Center Associate can provide an engaging class presentation on a number of leadership-related topics. 

The Co-Curricular Transcript

Increasingly, recruiters from business, industry, government, and even graduate and professional schools are seeking college graduates with not only exemplary academic achievements (which is documented on the academic transcript), but also graduates who have been involved in various leadership positions while in school. Similar to an academic transcript, the Co-Curricular Transcript (CCT) documents all of your leadership activities outside the classroom along with internships, cooperative education, and service-learning experiences. Students are encouraged to visit the Center to document their involvement as peer counselors, resident assistants, diversity educators, leadership retreat participants, Tiger’s Roar staff, and student government officials.
