Tigers Compete At The Citadel invitational

JAMES ISLAND, SC- The Savannah State cross country teams participated in the 27th Annual The Citadel Invitational.

SSU's Tyrone McCoy finished with his personal best with a time of 28:55.54. The men's 8k run was won by Furman's Patrick Morgan who had a time of 25:24.31.

The SSU women had three runners to compete in the 5k run. Tamia Thomas had a time of 21:44.83 to finish as the top Savannah State runner. Anntionette Elam posted a time of 22:08.70 while Tyisha Butler finished at 22:41.96

USC Upstate runner Emily Tangwar was the top finisher in the race with a time of 18:14.38.
